Coffee Infused Hennessy?

This is the coffee Lovers recipe!

GOOD MORNING & GOOD NIGHT

  • 1.5 oz Coffee Infused Hennessy VS * (see below)
  • 0.5 oz Tia Maria
  • 0.5 oz Madeira
  • 1 Dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 Dash Cherry Bitters
  • Garnish: Lemon Twist & Coffee Beans

Add all liquids to a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled, strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube and garnish with a lemon twist and 3 coffee beans.

 * Coffee infused Hennessy VS

  • 1 cup Hennessy VS
  • 1 Tablespoon rough ground Coffee Beans

Add coffee beans to Hennessy, let stand for 6 hours, shaking vigorously every hour.  After 6 hours has passed, strain through a fine sieve and re-bottle the infused liquid.  Lasts 6 months.

Whisky Cocktail Recipe with Ardbeg

Celebrity Taste Makers feature host Kaitlin Monte takes us Beyond the Bar with Ardbeg and Mark Buettler of Moet Hennessy USA.

Word on The Peat

  • 3/4 oz Ardbeg 10 yr Scotch
  • 3/4 oz Green Chartruese
  • 3/4 oz Maraschino liqueur
  • 3/4 oz Fresh lime Juice

Combine ingredients with ice and shake.
Strain out in a coup and add a brandied cherry as a garnish.

JULIA’S HAND

  • 1.5 oz Ardbeg 10 Year Islay Scotch Whisky
  • 1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth
  • 1/2 oz Orange Curaçao
  • ¼ oz Cherry Liqueur

Stir & strain up into a coupe glass.
